Brought to you by The Solar Guild at SGUI.AI (opens in a new tab)

The Solar Guild is tentatively planning to formally launch in mid-August; timing is subject to change. Some features are usable now, and you’re welcome to create an account. We’re still building the platform infrastructure and member tools for the full experience.

What Rate My Systems Is

Rate My Systems is an instrument of The Solar Guild. It collects ratings of systems — workplaces, services, institutions, platforms, and other arrangements people interact with. Raw responses and rater identities are not displayed on public score pages. A subject's early public signal may appear after its first accepted rating and becomes more informative as independent contributions accumulate.

Your Data

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not run ads.
  • Public score pages show a subject-level signal, not raw response rows or rater identities.
  • We store only what is needed to compute and publish aggregate scores.
  • Written notes and comments are used for moderation, instrument improvement, and internal pattern review.
  • Aggregate and de-identified findings may be used for research, outreach, stewardship, public analysis, and future improvement work.
  • We do not require your real name or email to submit a rating.

What You Agree To

  • You rate systems you have genuinely interacted with.
  • You do not submit fraudulent, coordinated, or retaliatory ratings.
  • You do not include personal identifying information about others in comments.
  • Once submitted, anonymous ratings cannot be individually retrieved or deleted.

Scoring

Scores currently use simple identity weighting: signed-in ratings count twice as much as anonymous ratings. Scores are also time-decayed and subject to Bayesian shrinkage. No single rater can dominate a mature multi-rater score. An early signal can appear after the first accepted rating and is marked as such while the sample is small. There are no rankings. The full methodology is public at /v1/methodology.

No Paid Influence

No paid product, advertisement, or commercial relationship moves a public score.

Use of Aggregate Signal

Ratings are the beginning, not the end. As patterns emerge, The Solar Guild may use aggregate, de-identified signal to guide research, outreach, stewardship, public analysis, and future work by people who choose to take responsibility for improving systems.

Liability

Rate My Systems is provided as-is. Aggregate scores reflect rater opinions and do not constitute professional assessments.
